Someone Prayed

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Someone Prayed (“we”, “us”) for using the Someone Prayed app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who the app is for

You must be 18 or older. Someone Prayed is built for Christians, and the app asks you to affirm that faith before you continue. It is a place for praying for strangers and being prayed for, and for nothing else.

Your account

Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Your recordings

Your recordings are yours. By recording a prayer request, a prayer, a testimony or feedback, you give us permission to store it, to check it for safety, to let a person on our team listen to it when needed, and to play it to the members it is meant for, all as described in our Privacy Policy. This permission lasts only as long as we keep the recording, and it ends when the recording is deleted.

Only record things you are free to share. Please do not record other people’s private details.

Keeping Someone Prayed a safe place

Please do not:

Every recording goes through an automatic safety check before another member hears it. If it is flagged, it is held until a person on our team has listened. We may hold, remove or refuse any recording, and we may suspend or end an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. We do not always explain a decision. Our Privacy Policy describes how the check works.

Prayer is not professional help

Someone Prayed is not a medical, mental health, legal or crisis service, and the people who pray for you are not counselors. Do not rely on the app for emergency or professional help. If you or someone you know is in danger, call 911, or call or text 988 in the United States.

Subscriptions

Using Someone Prayed requires a paid subscription. The price and length of each plan are shown in the app before you subscribe.

Ending your use

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to stop providing the app. When an account ends, we delete its recordings as described in our Privacy Policy.

No guarantees

We do our best to match and deliver prayers each day, but we cannot promise that any particular prayer will be recorded, delivered or heard, or when. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We make no promise about the outcome of any prayer.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Someone Prayed is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for anything another member says or does. Our total responsibility to you for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

Apple’s terms

If you use the iPhone app, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s terms win on the matters they cover. Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Where the law of the place you live gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and if the change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
